Please read the following rules carefully
before agreeing to these terms and
submitting your Community Membership.
First, you must be 16-years-old or older to
participate in the Community. Anyone who is
discovered to be under the age of 16 will be
deleted from our system immediately. You must
be at least 16 years old to participate here!
Also, if you are a minor (under 18), please
make sure you have your parent’s permission to
participate in this Community.
And remember: Youth & Young Adults Only.
This means teenagers 16 years or older,
college students, and young adults in their
20s. [Adults: there are lots of places for you
to go and discuss the stuff you like. This
community is reserved just for youth & young
adults. Thanks for understanding.

I confirm that I have read the guidelines
listed in the ‘Welcome Letter’ form and
agree to abide by them, as well as the terms
and conditions listed below.

I am aware that either the NextWave Faithful
staff, or myself, can choose to discontinue
my membership to the NextWave Faithful
Community at any time, for any or no reason.

I recognize that the peer-suggestions and
recommendations I may receive in the chat
rooms and discussion boards do not
constitute reliable information.

I agree that I am responsible on my own
initiative to seek licensed professional
assistance, if ever needed.

If I ever learn of abuse or a suicide threat
in the Community, I understand that I must
immediately take appropriate action to
notify the authorities.

I acknowledge that if I receive
recommendations for licensed counseling or
advice, the choice of any such provider is
totally my decision, and NextWave Faithful
will not have any responsibility for, or
interest in, the services provided by third
parties.

The NextWave Faithful Online Community
membership is confidential information that
will be kept private, except in situations
where such confidentiality would violate any
Law.

I agree, through my use of this Community,
that I will not post any material which is
false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive,
vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene,
profane, sexually orientated, threatening,
invasive to a person’s privacy, or otherwise
in violation of ANY law. I also agree not to
post any copyrighted material unless the
copyright is owned by me or I have consent
from the owner of the copyrighted material.
Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain
letters, and solicitations are also
inappropriate for the community.

No name-calling.
Disagreeing is fine, just do it with
respect.

No profanity. Messages
deemed indecent by our staff will be edited
or deleted.

No links are allowed to
be posted.

Personal information such
as phone numbers, street addresses, etc.
will be edited out.

This Community may not be
used, under any circumstances, for
recruiting to other organizations,
marketing, buying, or selling of any kind.

Use personal information
like email addresses or instant message IDs
with caution. Not only can it be annoying to
be contacted by somebody you don’t know, it
can be dangerous. Be careful what you post.

We urge you to take
precautions with the people you meet online.
You should always be cautious about giving
out any personal information online.
Remember: even Christian sites are not
fail-safe.

Note that it is
impossible for us to confirm the validity of
posts on the Boards. Please remember that we
do not guarantee constant monitoring of the
posted NextWave Faithful Community messages
and are not responsible for their content.
We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness
or usefulness of any information presented.
Community messages express the views of the
author, not necessarily the views of this
forum.

Anyone who feels
that a posted message is objectionable is
encouraged to notify an administrator of
this Community immediately.

We reserve the
right to remove objectionable content,
within a reasonable time frame, if we
determine that removal is necessary. This is
a manual process, however, so please realize
that we may not be able to remove or edit
particular Community messages immediately.
This policy goes for member profile
information as well.

responsible for the content of my Community
messages, and I agree to indemnify and hold
harmless the NextWave Faithful Community,
and any related websites to this Community.

right to reveal your identity (or any
information we have about you) in the event
of a complaint or legal action arising from
any information posted by you.

You have the
ability, as you register, to choose your
username. We advise that you keep the name
appropriate. With this user account you are
about to register, you agree to never give
your password out to another member, for
your protection and for validity reasons.

use another member's account to post
messages or browse this Community.

After you register
and log into the Community, you can fill out
a detailed profile. It is your
responsibility to present clean and accurate
information. Any information we deem
inaccurate or vulgar will be removed.

Community, I understand and agree that I am
fully responsible for my well-being,
including my choices and decisions, and I
acknowledge that no guarantees have been
made to me as to the outcome of my Community
membership.

indemnify and hold harmless my membership to
the NextWave Faithful Online Community for
any decisions I make or actions I take based
on my Community membership.

Community, I agree to these Terms of Use,
and any other terms that NextWave Faithful
may set forth either now, or at any time in
